Ron Lee competed as a football player at Willamette. He was named First Team All-Conference as a linebacker in 1964 and 1965. He went on to coach football at several high schools and colleges. He was the offensive coordinator at Willamette in the 1980s. Originally from Hawaii, he was an assistant coach for 11 seasons at the University of Hawaii. He was Hawaii's offensive coordinator during his final two seasons in 2008 and 2009. He coached receivers for all 11 years. Ron joins his brothers, Tommy and Calvin, in the Hall of Fame.
