Leslie Wickman competed in track and field and basketball at Willamette. In track & field, she held the high jump record and was ranked in the top 10 in the 100-meter hurdles and the pentathlon. At the time of her induction, she was 7th on the Bearcats' all-time list in the women's high jump at 5' 4". In basketball, she was ranked at Willamette in rebounding. She earned WCIC All-Conference recognition in track and field and basketball. Later, Wickman worked on NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and International Space Station. She played women's professional tackle football for six seasons and was named to the All-Star Team in 2002. She won a Women's World Bowl Championship with the California Quake in 2001. She also won the U.S. national women's doubles grass volleyball championship for her age group in 1994.
