Alicia Wright Scanlan was chosen Third-Team All-America in 1996 and was Honorable Mention All-America in 1995. She was selected as the Northwest Conference of Independent Colleges (NCIC) Player of the Year in 1996 and was named First-Team All-NCIC in 1994, 1995 and 1996. Wright was an All-Region choice in 1995 and 1996. She helped Willamette win NCIC Championships in 1993, 1994, 1995 and 1996. The 1995 volleyball team was inducted into the Willamette Athletic Hall of Fame in 2013. Wright was chosen as an All-America Scholar-Athlete in each of her final three years at Willamette. She holds Willamette records for aces in a season with 69 in 1995, and aces per game/set with 0.59 in 1994, and digs in a season with 603 in 1995.
