Skip Kenitzer coached 29 All-America swimmers at Willamette. In 1996-97 he was chosen NAIA National Coach of the Year after leading the Willamette women’s team to 10 All-America swims and a third place finish at the NAIA National Championships. He also was named Northwest Conference of Independent College (NCIC) Coach of the Year. Kenitzer and his 1996-97 women’s swimming team were inducted into the Willamette Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007. Kenitzer was the Head Men’s and Women’s Swimming Coach at Willamette from 1993-98. He was the Co-Head Coach for both teams from 1998-01. After retiring from his coaching duties, he served Willamette for several years as the Athletic Facilities Coordinator with titles of Assistant Athletic Director (2001-09) and Associate Athletic Director (2009-11). He retired from Willamette in 2011.
