The purpose of the Athletic Communications office is to facilitate communication between the athletic department and its external constituents, increase the awareness of and interest in Willamette Athletics and to publicize the activities and accomplishments of the student-athletes, teams and athletic department as a whole.

The Athletic Communications office is responsible for updating the athletics website, managing social media, broadcasting and statistical record keeping. It is charged with department branding including photography, graphic design, and managing the identity of Willamette Athletics.

The staff produces informational pieces including game programs, previews, and feature stories. They handle correspondence with media, the Northwest Conference, and the NCAA.
