Willamette and George Fox to Resume Baseball Game on March 18

SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University and George Fox University baseball teams will try to complete their suspended game on Wednesday, March 18, starting at 3:30 p.m. at John Lewis Field. The game was suspended on Saturday, March 14 at the end of the third inning with the scored tied 3-3.

The Bearcats and the Bruins had hoped to finish the game on Tuesday, but the field wasn't yet playable. Thanks to the efforts of WU's players and coaches, the field is ready -- if the weather doesn't interfere.

Willamette and George Fox also plan to rescheduled the remaining two games in their four-game series. No date for the games has been determined.
