SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University baseball games scheduled with Claremont-Mudd-Scripps for Friday, April 5 and Saturday, April 6 in Claremont, California, have been canceled. The cancellations are a result of the CMS baseball team having all activities canceled until at least April 8 as their athletic department investigates potential conduct violations. The three games will not be rescheduled.

After winning two of three games against Pacific University this past weekend, the Bearcats are 13-13 overall and 10-8 in the Northwest Conference.

Connor Bailey (Sr., CF, San Diego, CA/Scripps Ranch HS) leads Willamette with a .380 batting average and a .700 slugging percentage. He also ranks first on the team with 38 hits, 30 runs scored, 21 walks and seven home runs. He is second on the squad with 21 RBIs.

Cole Pursell (Sr./Jr., C, Oceanside, CA/El Camino HS) owns a .329 batting average, leads the Bearcats with 25 RBIs and ranks second with five home runs.
