Bearcats Add Four Baseball Games to Replace Canceled Series at Redlands

SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University baseball team has added four non-conference games to the 2022 schedule to replace the four games that were removed when the Feb. 11-13 series at the University of Redlands was canceled. All four of the new games will be played mid-week, with three of the four games at home for the Bearcats.

Willamette will play at Bushnell University on Wednesday, March 16 in Eugene, Oregon. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m. (PDT).

On Tuesday, March 22, the Bearcats will play at home against crosstown rival Corban University. Game time is slated for 1 p.m. (PDT) at John Lewis Field. The Bearcats will host the Warriors again on Wednesday, March 30, at 3 p.m.

Completing the four-game set of non-conference games for the Bearcats will be a matchup with Bushnell at John Lewis Field on Tuesday, April 5. First pitch will be at 3 p.m. (PDT).

Willamette is 5-5 on the season and 3-3 in the Northwest Conference. The Bearcats are set to host the University of Puget Sound in an NWC series this weekend. The teams will play a doubleheader on Saturday, March 5, starting at 11 a.m. (PST). Willamette and Puget Sound will complete the series with one game on Sunday, March 6 at 12 p.m.
