SALEM, OR â?? After a three-week layoff, the Willamette University
football team is set to take the field again this Saturday when
they host Pacific Lutheran University at 6:00 p.m. at McCulloch
Stadium.
Brandon Bennett, Quentin Brock, and Megdy Khoury were all
selected to the 2005 All-Northwest Conference First Team last week,
headlining a list of 18 Bearcat football players that received
All-NWC recognition.
Coming into the 2005 season the Willamette University football
team had many question marks. The Bearcats, who were coming off a
7-4 season in which they lost in the first round of the national
playoffs, were in search of an identity.

have been named to the ESPN the Magazine District 8 CoSida Academic
All-American team for their outstanding success on the field and in
the classroom.

defeated the Willamette University football team (5-4 overall, 3-1
NWC), 63-21, at McCulloch Stadium Saturday night.

Willamette University football team. The Bearcats, winners of five
straight, will host top-ranked and undefeated Linfield this
Saturday with both the Northwest Conference title, and a possible

he collected 19 tackles, including several key stops, in the

named the Northwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week and
Wesley Randall was named Special Teams Player of the Week in
