Khoury, Randall Earn Player of the Week Honors

Salem, OR. - Linebacker Megdy Khoury (SR. Elko, NV) has been named the Northwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week and Wesley Randall was named Special Teams Player of the Week in leading the Bearcats to a 34-28 victory over Southern Oregon on Saturday.

Khoury (pictured left) was credited with 11 tackles, 3 blocked passes and one fumble recovery.

Randall (SO, Los Angeles, Ca.) had a pair of blocked punts, the first which resulted in the first touchdown of the game versus Southern Oregon.

Wide receiver Michael Plank (SR, Stockton, CA) was named honorable mention offensive player of the week for recording 9 catches, good for 168 yards and two touchdowns. Plank has also been named the Statesman Journal Athlete of the Week.

The Bearcats also had a pair of NWC Honorable mentions in womens soccer. Forward Brenna Hindman (SR. Boulder, CO.) was named NWC Honorable Mention for Offensive player of the week for scoring a goal and assisting on another during the games against PLU and Pacific University.

Bearcat Womens soccer defender April Kyrkos (SR. Woodinville, WA.) was also a NWC honorable mention for defensive player of the week, as she helped the Bearcats to a win and a tie last weekend in NWC play.

M3ens soccer player Donald Bressler (SR, Seattle WA) was named honorable mention offensive player of the week. He scored a goal in the Bearcats game against Pacific.
