Devin ORourke, a sophomoire linebacker from Eatonville, WA, has been named the Northwest Conference Defensive Player of the Week as he collected 19 tackles, including several key stops, in the Bearcats 34-27 win over PLU.
ORourke was in on the tackle that ended PLUs fourth quarter drive as they attempted to tie the score. ORoourke was also part of the defensive effort hat collected a key safety earlier in the game.
Officially, ORouorke had two solo tackles and 17 assisted tackles, including two for a loss.
Freshman soccer forward Kelsey Priest earned honorable mention honors for her goal in the Bearcats tie against Linfield.
