Moore is Named to All-Tournament Team at Webster Tip-Off Classic

SALEM, Ore. -- Willamette University sophomore guard Caleb Moore (Wadley, GA/Washington County HS/Bard College) has been chosen as a member of the All-Tournament Team at the Webster Tip-Off Classic. Willamette went 1-1 during the tournament, falling to Webster University (Mo.), 71-61, before defeating Westminster College (Mo.), 109-74.

In the loss to Webster, Moore earned 12 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and supplied the Bearcats with four assists and one steal. He helped Willamette reduce a 13-point lead to a single point with 5:03 left in the game before the Gorloks secured the win. Against Westminster, Moore scored seven points to go with two rebounds and three assists in 14:25 on the court. He averaged 9.5 points, 5.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists during the two tournament games.

Also chosen for the All-Tournament Team were Jose Rodriguez and Chase Morgan of Maryville College (Tenn.), Jemard Sykes II and Markus Becton of Webster, and Brennan Jeffries from Westminster. Rodriguez was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

Willamette is 2-3 on the season and will return to action on Saturday, Nov. 25 with a game at the University Portland. Tipoff in Portland, Oregon, is set for 5 p.m. PST. The game will be an exhibition for Willamette but will count for Portland.
