SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University golf teams have made changes to their schedules for this spring according to Head Coach Patrick Daugherty. The Willamette men's team and the Bearcat women's team are both off to great starts this season.
One of the differences on the schedule impacts both teams, as the Willamette Cup, hosted by the Bearcats at Tokatee Golf Course in McKenzie Bridge, Ore., will now be played on Saturday, April 19. It is one day later than listed on the original schedule.
The other change is an addition to the men's schedule. Willamette will be competing at the 2014 West Cup at the Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta, Calif., on March 24-25. The prestigious tournament is hosted by the University of La Verne. The Bearcat men's team is currently ranked #22 in NCAA Division III.
