NEWBERG, ORE. -- High winds and rain forced a suspension of play in the NWC Fall Classic for men's golf and women's golf at the Chehalem Glenn Golf Course on Saturday, Oct. 25. Play was partially completed when the conditions became too severe. Action resumed at 4 p.m., but darkness prevented the first round from being completed.

The first round will resume at 7:45 a.m. (PDT) on Sunday, Oct. 26 at Chehalem Glenn. The second round is slated to begin at approximately 11 a.m.

Sustained winds on the course reached 30 miles per hour. Gusts went as high as 50 miles per hour.

The NWC Fall Classic counts for one-fourth of each team championship in golf. The NWC Spring Classic also counts for one-fourth, with the NWC Tournament providing the final half.
