TACOMA, Wash. -- The Northwest Conference softball doubleheader between Willamette University and University of Puget Sound scheduled for Sunday, April 8 has been postponed due to the weather. The team will play two games on Monday, April 9 in Tacoma, Washington, starting at 1 p.m. (PDT). No make-up date has been determined for the two games postponed on Sunday.

The series was originally scheduled to be played on Saturday, April 7 and Sunday, April 8, but the forecast of extreme wind and rain on Saturday forced the series to move to Sunday and Monday. With Sunday's games postponed, the teams plan on playing two games on Monday and then meeting later in the season, if necessary, to complete the four-game set.

Willamette is 5-20 on the season and 5-13 in the NWC. Puget Sound is 7-22-1 overall and 5-15 in the NWC.
