Willamette Softball Doubleheader at George Fox to Start at 10 a.m. on Saturday

SALEM, Ore. -- The start time for the Northwest Conference doubleheader between Willamette University and George Fox University set for Saturday, April 14 in Newberg, Oregon, has been changed to 10 a.m. (PDT). By starting two hours earlier than originally scheduled, the teams hope to complete the two games before rain sets in throughout the Willamette Valley later in the day.

Willamette's home doubleheader against George Fox on Sunday, April 15 is still scheduled to begin at 12 p.m. (PDT) at WU Softball Field. The two games on Sunday will be the final home games of the season for the Bearcats.

Although specific locations and times have not yet been confirmed, the Bearcats are set to play two games on the road against University of Puget Sound on Monday, April 16, followed by two road games against Whitworth University on Tuesday, April 17. All four games were rained out earlier in the season.

Willamette brings a 5-22 overall record to Newberg on Saturday, along with a 5-20 record in the NWC. George Fox is 29-7 overall, including 20-4 in the NWC.
