Willamette Softball Series at Linfield Moves to Friday and Saturday

SALEM, Ore. -- The Northwest Conference softball series between Willamette University and Linfield University, originally set for Saturday, Feb. 26, and Sunday, Feb. 27, has been moved to Friday and Saturday to avoid having the weather impact any of the four games. The doubleheader on Friday, Feb. 25 will start at 4 p.m. (PST) with the second game set for 6 p.m. On Saturday, the first game will begin at 11 a.m. and the second game is scheduled for 1 p.m.

Willamette is 2-3 on the season, while Linfield is 3-1 overall. This weekend's series will open NWC action for both teams.

The Bearcats are slated to play their first NWC home games of the year against the University of Puget Sound on Saturday, March 5 and Sunday, March 6 at the WU Softball Field. Willamette will take on the Loggers in a doubleheader each day, starting at 12 p.m. on March 5 and at 11 a.m. on March 6.
