SALEM, ORE. -- Head Swimming Coach Leslie Shevlin and the Willamette University swim team will host an Alumni Swim Meet and Tailgate event on Saturday, Oct. 16. The event will be held in conjunction with an intrasquad meet for current Willamette swimmers.
Warm-ups will start at 8 a.m. (PDT) at the Sparks Center. Alumni participants will compete in 50 meter races in all of the strokes, as well as relay events with current Bearcat swimmers.
Following the meet, Willamette swimming will be providing a tailgate for all swimmers, friends and family after the meet. Those interested can attend the home football game against the University of Puget Sound at 1:30 p.m. (PDT).
