Swimming Meet at George Fox is Canceled, Meet at Lewis & Clark is Postponed

SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University swimming meet at George Fox University, originally scheduled for Friday, Jan. 12, has been canceled due to the weather. In addition, the Bearcats' meet at Lewis & Clark College, set for Saturday, Jan. 13, has been postponed. No makeup date has yet been determined for the meet at L&C.

Willamette's swimming teams will return to action on Friday, Jan. 19 when they host Pacific University at the WU Natatorium. Action in the Northwest Conference dual meet is set to begin at 6 p.m. PST.

The Bearcats will compete at the University of Puget Sound on Saturday, Jan. 20 at 1 p.m. PST in Tacoma, Washington. Willamette will close out the dual meet portion of the schedule on Saturday, Jan. 27 against Linfield University at the WU Natatorium. The meet with Linfield is scheduled to start at 11 a.m.

Willamette will participate in the 2024 Northwest Conference Swimming Championships from Thursday, Feb. 8 through Sunday, Feb. 11. The event, featuring all nine NWC colleges and universities, will be held at the King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way, Washington.
