Bearcats to Take on Whitworth and Whitman in Women's Basketball

SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University women's basketball team will take on Whitworth University on Friday, Feb. 11 in Spokane, Wash., and will face Whitman College on Saturday, Feb. 12 in Walla Walla, Wash., on the Bearcats' final road trip of the season. Game time is set for 6 p.m. (PST) each night.

You can follow the action on both nights through the Willamette Audio Webcast, with Mike Allegre providing the play-by-play and production services supplied by Full Access Sports. Each Audio Webcast will begin at approximately 5:45 p.m. (PST).

The game on Friday also will feature a free Video Webcast provided by Whitworth University with footage from a live TV broadcast in the Spokane area. In addition, Whitworth will post Live Stats during the game.

On Saturday, Whitman will include Live Stats on its website. For persons willing to pay a fee, Whitman also plans to provide a Video Webcast.

Willamette enters the weekend with a 3-16 overall record, including 2-10 in the Northwest Conference. In the Bearcats' most recent game, Willamette edged out Pacific University, 58-57, on a 33-foot three-pointer by Sophie Wilson (So., G, Port Townsend, WA/Port Townsend HS) as the final buzzer sounded.

Whitworth is 10-11 on the season, 6-6 in the NWC. Whitman has a record of 12-9 overall and is 6-6 in the NWC.

Alex Zennan lead the Bearcats in scoring with 12.2 points per game.
