The game was tied 36-36 at halftime, but Willamette gained a 36-22 scoring advantage in the second half. "I was very proud of our effort tonight. It was fun to see our offense come together, but I was most pleased with our defense. Pomona-Pitzer is a very talented team, so to keep them under 35% shooting shows we are heading in the right direction."
— Willamette Head Coach Peg Swadener
