SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University women's golf team will take on crosstown rival Corban University in a dual meet on Saturday, March 3 at Oak Knoll Golf Course. Action is set to begin at 10 a.m. (PST). The Bearcats and the Warriors will play from the course's regular tees.

Willamette was originally scheduled to participate in a tournament hosted by Linfield College at Seapines Golf Course in Florence, Ore., on March 3-4. That meet was canceled this week due to a coaching transition at Linfield. As a result, the head coaches from WU and Corban decided to hold the dual meet on Saturday.

Par is 72 on the Oak Knoll course, which is located just west of Salem, Ore. The 18 holes cover 5,876 yards from the regular tees. It features eight par 4's, plus five par 5's and five par 3's.

Following the dual with Corban, the Bearcats' next competition will be at the Willamette Invitational on Saturday, March 10 and Sunday, March 11. The first round will be played at Creekside Golf Club with the second round played at Illahe Hills Country Club.

Freshman Mckenzie Weinhold, who took fourth place at the NWC Fall Classic, will lead WU against Corban.
