RIDGEFIELD, WASH. -- Willamette University freshman golfer Elise Levy (Reno, NV/Bishop Monague HS) shot a hole-in-one on the par-3 17th hole during the second round of the Northwest Conference Fall Classic at the Tri-Mountain Golf Course in Ridgefield, Wash., on Sunday, Oct. 28.

Levy recorded the hole-in-one from about 130 yards. It was her second hole-in-one overall, but her first at the college level.

"That's the first hole-in-one I've been involved with at Willamette," Head Coach Noah Horstman said. "I was one hole away when she hit it. Her parents were there and got to see her make the shot."

George Fox won the team title with a score of 629 (314-315) as the Bruins attained a 52-stroke margin of victory. Whitman College was second at 681 (350-331) and Whitworth University took third at 692 (357-335).

The NWC Fall Classic counts for one-fourth of the overall NWC team championship. The NWC Spring Classic counts for another quarter of the title, while the NWC Championship tournament provides the final one-half of the overall standings. Willamette has now completed its fall schedule and will return to action in the spring.
