Willamette Releases Women's Golf Schedule for Fall of 2017

SALEM, Ore -- Head Golf Coach Patrick Daugherty has announced the 2017 fall schedule for the Willamette University women's golf team. The Bearcats will compete in four tournaments during the fall, including the Northwest Conference Fall Classic, which is the first of three tournaments during the year that are used to determine the NWC Championship as well as All-NWC honors.

Willamette will open the season at the Dupont Invitational, hosted by Pacific Lutheran University on Sunday, Sept. 17 and Monday, Sept. 18. The tournament will be played at The Home Course in Dupont, Washington.

The Bearcats will travel to Walla Walla, Washington, to compete in the Whitman Invitational on Sunday, Oct. 1 and Monday, Oct. 2. Both rounds will be played at the Wine Valley Golf Club.

On Saturday, Oct. 7 and Sunday, Oct. 8, Willamette will participate in the Culturame Classic at The Reserve Vineyards and Golf Club in Aloha, Oregon. The event will be hosted by George Fox University.

The final tournament during the first semester of classes will be the NWC Fall Classic on Saturday, Oct. 14 and Sunday, Oct. 15. Pacific University will host the tournament at Quail Valley Golf Course in Banks, Oregon. The NWC Fall Classic and the NWC Spring Classic each count for one-fourth of the overall NWC title, with the NWC Tournament counting for one-half.
