Bearcats Complete First Round of Willamette Valley Cup in Women's Golf

SALEM, Ore. -- Anushka Srivastav (So., Pune, India/Mahindra International School), Mallory Tolliver (Fy., Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington HS), and Kennedy Raphelt (Jr., Canyon Country, CA) competed in the first round of the Willamette Valley Cup in women's golf, hosted by the Bearcats at Creekside Golf Club on Saturday, March 18. The 36-hole tournament will conclude with the second round on Sunday, March 19. Tee times will begin at 10 a.m. (PDT).

Srivastav and Tolliver each shot 101 in the first round. Srivastav recorded four pars during the round, while Tolliver earned one par. Raphelt concluded the 18 holes with three pars and a score of 110.

Pacific University topped the team standings at 355. Southern Oregon University was six strokes behind the Boxers at 361. The University of Puget Sound was third at 378. Willamette, Bushnell University (Ore.), and Lewis & Clark College did not field full teams.

The individual leader on Saturday was Analise Aubin from Bushnell, who carded an 82. She led by two strokes over Kaila Bonawitz of Puget Sound, who was second with an 84. Haley Brown of Southern Oregon and Avery Arnold of Pacific ended the round in a tie for third place at 85. Nikki Tabios from Pacific and Sofia Lavinder from Puget Sound were tied for fifth place at 86, while Bryn Lawson of SOU held seventh place at 88.
