Moore, Tolliver, and Srivastav Compete at First Day of Pacific Invitational

BANKS, Ore. -- Three women's golfers from Willamette University competed in the first round of the Pacific Invitational at the Quail Valley Golf Course on Saturday, Sept. 16. Roberta Moore (So., Lakewood, WA/Lakes HS/Lewis & Clark College), who led the Bearcats with a score of 91, was 22nd in the individual standings. The tournament will conclude with the final round on Sunday, Sept. 17.

Joining Moore on the course for Willamette were Mallory Tolliver (So., Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington HS) and Anushka Srivastav (Sr., Pune, India/Mahindra International School). Tolliver shot a 94 on Saturday, while Srivastav carded a 98.

Nikki Tabios topped the individual leaderboard for Pacific University with a 2-over par 74. Malaina Sidhu from Whitman was second with a 78, and Bead Boonta of Pacific held third place with an 80. Ellena Jeong of Whitman was fourth after carding an 81. Brianna McNelly from Whitworth University followed in fifth with an 83.

Pacific owned first place in the team standings with a score of 330. Whitman was in second place at 336 and Whitworth was third at 338. Pacific Lutheran University was in fourth place at 349, the University of Puget Sound was in fifth at 356, and Linfield University was sixth at 388. Willamette and Lewis & Clark College did not enter full teams.
