Bearcats and Boxers Move Women's Tennis Match to Friday

SALEM, ORE. -- The Northwest Conference women's tennis match between Willamette University and Pacific University, originally scheduled for Saturday, March 20, has been changed to Friday, March 19. Match time is set for 3:30 p.m. (PDT) at the Willamette University Tennis Courts.

Willamette enters the match with a 7-4 overall record, 7-4 in the NWC. The Bearcats are tied for fourth place in the conference standings. Pacific will begin the match with a 4-8 overall record, 4-7 in the NWC. The Boxers are in sixth place in the conference.

WU's top player, Natalia Agarycheva (Jr., Vancouver, WA/Prairie HS/U. of Northern Colorado), is 9-1 on the season in singles. She is 7-2 overall in doubles.

Shannon Palmer and the rest of the women's tennis team will take on Pacific at the WU Tennis Courts on Friday at 3:30 p.m.
