Bearcats Fall Short in Road Contest at Warner Pacific
PORTLAND, Ore. — Warner Pacific University defeated Willamette University 103-100 in a tightly contested game at CC Perry Gymnasium/Bart Valentine Court. Willamette rallied in the second half, outscoring Warner Pacific 61-50, but could not overcome a substantial first-half deficit. The Bearcats capitalized on turnovers, scoring 25 points off 19 Warner Pacific turnovers. Despite their efforts, Warner Pacific's free throw accuracy, converting 34 of 40 attempts, proved decisive in maintaining their narrow lead.
