Bearcats versus Claremont-Mudd-Scripps on Friday at GFU Moves to 5 p.m.

SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University women's basketball game against Claremont-Mudd-Scripps (Calif.) on Friday, Nov. 16 at George Fox University has been moved to 5 p.m. (PST) in Newberg, Oregon. The match-up is a first round game in the Bruin Classic. Willamette will play at home in the second round of the Bruin Classic on Saturday, Nov. 17, when the Bearcats will host Evergreen State College (Wash.) at Cone Field House, with tipoff set for 4 p.m. (PST).

Willamette is currently 0-2 on the season after playing NAIA members Warner Pacific University and Northwest Christian University. The Bearcats fell to Warner Pacific in overtime, 81-76, and lost to Northwest Christian, 62-55. Claremont-Mudd-Scripps will be Willamette's first NCAA Division III opponent of the season.

Senior guard Britanny Kochenderfer (Sr., G, Klamath Falls, OR/Henley HS/Idaho State Univ.) leads the Bearcats with 20.0 points and 11.0 rebounds per game. She scored 21 points against WPU and added 19 points versus Northwest Christian. She recorded a double-double in both games.
