Bearcat Men's Basketball Game at Lewis & Clark is Rescheduled for Monday

SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University men's basketball game at Lewis & Clark College has been rescheduled from Friday, Jan. 19 to Monday, Jan. 22 due to the weather conditions in Portland. The WU women's basketball game against the Pioneers has also been moved to Monday. The men's game is slated to begin at 8 p.m. PST following the women's game, which will start at 6 p.m.

Prior to playing at L&C, the Bearcats will take on George Fox University on Saturday, Jan. 20 at Cone Field House. Game time for the men's contest is slated for 6 p.m. PST, with the women's game set to open the doubleheader at 4 p.m.

Willamette is 3-3 in the Northwest Conference. George Fox is 5-2 in the NWC, while the Pioneers are 1-5. For the season, the Bearcats are 8-6, with the Bruins at 12-4 and Lewis & Clark at 5-10.

The Bearcats are topped by Jack Boydell (Grad., W, Sonoma, CA/Sonoma Valley HS) and Josiah Frank (Jr., G, Turlock, CA/John H. Pitman HS), each with 16.4 points per game. Boydell and Frank are tied with Whitworth University players Jojo Anderson and Jake Holtz for second in the NWC. The NWC leader is Jai Deshpande of Whitman with 19.9 points per game.

Other WU players averaging in double figures are Ryder Hsiung (Jr., G, Honolulu, HI/Punahou School) at 12.2 points per game and Caleb Moore (So., G, Wadley, GA/Washington County HS/Bard College) with 10.6 points per contest. In addition, Kahiau Bruhn (So., W, Waimanalo, HI/Kamehameha Schools-Kapalama) is averaging 8.9 points. D'Ante Dean (Jr., F, Nassau, Bahamas/British Columbia Christian Acad./Peninsula College) ranks first for the Bearcats with 7.7 rebounds per game. Moore is first in assists with 4.3 per contest.

Boydell leads Willamette with 35 three-point baskets and 47.3% three-point shooting this season. He has scored 1,283 career points to go along with 169 career 3-point baskets.

At the top of GFU's scoring list is Aiden Price with 13.6 points per game. He is followed by James Moore and Momo Stokes, each with 12.9 points per game. Moore tops the Bruins with 24 three-pointers and is the team's top rebounder with 5.0 boards per game.

The L&C Pioneers have received 11.9 points per contest from Mikey Medlock Jr. Isaac Ticeson has added 10.7 points per game and Sam Henderson has averaged 8.9 points. Medlock has converted 32 three-point shots. Griffin Datcher IV leads L&C with 5.9 rebounds per game.
