Wong Falls to #3 Seed in Round of 32 at Ojai Valley Tournament

OJAI, CALIF. -- Joshua Wong (Jr., Hilo, HI/Hilo HS) from Willamette University was defeated by the #3 seed, Warren Wood from Claremont-Mudd-Scripps, during the Round of 32 in the men's NCAA Division III singles bracket at the 112th Annual Ojai Valley Tournament on Friday, April 27. Wood defeated Wong, 6-1, 6-1, and will take on #9-seed Justin Wilson from California Lutheran University in the Round of 16.

Wong, who was recently named First Team All-Northwest Conference for the third year in a row, concluded the season with an 8-8 overall record as Willamette's #1 singles player this spring. His career record over three seasons of spring matches is 35-19 (.648).
