    SALEM, ORE. -- The Willamette University men's tennis team is ranked #19 in the West Region of NCAA Division III, according to the most recent poll unveiled by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA). Senior Joshua Wong (Hilo, HI/Hilo HS) earned individual recognition with a #12 ranking in singles. Wong and Samuel Wexman (Fr., Tiburon, CA/Tamiscal HS), were ranked 11th among doubles pairings.

    FRESNO, CALIF. -- Fresno State University from NCAA Division I quickly won #2 and #3 doubles to clinch the doubles point, and then earned victories in all six singles matches, as the Bulldogs defeated Willamette University, 7-0, in men's tennis on Sunday, March 24. Fresno State improved to 5-12 on the season. The Bearcats, who compete in NCAA Division III, fell to 5-7 overall.

The Boxers upped their record to 3-5 overall, 3-4 in the Northwest Conference. Willamette, playing its third match in three days, slipped to 3-6 on the season, 3-4 in the NWC.
