SALEM, Ore. -- The Northwest Conference men's tennis match between Willamette University and Linfield College scheduled for Tuesday, April 14 has been postponed due to the weather. Rain in Salem cleared up just a bit too late for the Bearcats and the Wildcats to play at the WU Tennis Courts.

Willamette and Linfield will now meet on Friday, April 17. The match will still be at the WU Tennis Courts, with action set to get underway at 4 p.m. (PDT).

The Bearcats are 3-12 on the season and 3-6 in the NWC. Linfield owns a 1-13 overall record, including 1-9 in the NWC. When the teams met on March 14, the Bearcats defeated the Wildcats, 6-3, in McMinnville, Ore.

Willamette will close out the 2014-15 season with two regularly scheduled matches this weekend. On Saturday, April 18, the Bearcats will host Pacific at the WU Tennis Courts, with match time set for 1 p.m. (PDT). On Sunday, April 19, Willamette will travel to Newberg, Oregon, to take on George Fox University at 1 p.m.
