Hook Opens Women's Golf Fall Season at Pacific Lutheran Invitational

TACOMA, Wash. – Willamette University's Meghan Hook (Sr., Sunnyvale, CA/Homestead HS) opened the fall season at the Pacific Lutheran Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 18, carding a 105 on day one of the two-day event, playing as an individual.

Whitman College holds a one stroke lead over Whitworth University, 315-316, with Pacific Lutheran University currently third with a 333. Bellevue College (Wash.) did not have a full team but had three players combine for a 236 on the afternoon.

Bellevue's Sarah Lawrence turned in a 74 to hold the top spot in the individual standings. Whitman's Katya Kurkoski and Whitworth's Stasia Sarty each finished with rounds of 75.

Action continues tomorrow at the Lake Spanaway Golf Course.
