Hook Has Top 20 Start at Wildcat Invitational

McMINNVILLE, Ore. – Willamette University senior Meghan Hook (Sunnyvale, CA/Homestead HS) turned in a round of 113 on day one of the Linfield University Wildcat Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 25. Playing as an individual, Hook finished the first round in 17th place in the standings.

Lewis & Clark College's Kamryn Ford leads the field with low round of 77 on Saturday. The University of Puget Sound's Georgia Lavinder and Pacific University's Avery Arnold hold the second and third spots, respectively, with scores of 87 and 89.

Host Linfield leads the team standings with a score of 387 with Puget Sound in second with 391. Lewis & Clark and Pacific are next at 418 and 431, respectively.

Competition continues on Sunday, Sept. 26 at the Michelbook Country Club in McMinnville, Oregon.
