SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University women's golf team is set to compete at the 2024 Northwest Conference Women's Golf Tournament on Saturday, April 20, and Sunday, April 21 at Langdon Farms Golf Club in Aurora, Oregon. Action is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m. PDT both days in the 36-hole tournament.

Competing for the Bearcats at the NWC Tournament will be Roberta Moore (So., Lakewood, WA/Lakes HS/Lewis & Clark College), Saida Seelig (So., Portland, OR/Wilson HS), Anushka Srivastav (Sr., Pune, India/Mahindra International School), and Mallory Tolliver (So., Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington HS).

Willamette has registered some quality scores recently. Moore produced an 85 in the first round of the UC Santa Cruz Invite on March 30. A week later, Moore shot an 80 in the first round of the NWC Spring Classic on April 7 and Srivastav earned an 86 in the second round on April 8. During the Bearcat Women's Dual #1 against Linfield on April 12, Srivastav carded an 87 and was just two strokes out of the lead. At the Bearcat Women's Dual #2 on April 13, Moore shot an 87 to place third, just two strokes out of second place.

The NWC Tournament is one of three events used to determine the overall Northwest Conference champion each season. The NWC Spring Classic is worth one-fourth of the title and the NWC Fall Classic is worth one-fourth of the title. The NWC Tournament is worth one-half of the title. Eight of the nine conference teams will be competing in the team and individual standings this weekend. Lewis & Clark College does not have any golfers entered in the women's competition.
