Bachiochi Earns Third Straight NWC Women's Lacrosse Offensive Honor

SALEM, Ore. -- Willamette University junior attacker Lily Bachiochi (Henderson, NV/Coronado HS) has been named the Northwest Conference Women's Lacrosse Student-Athlete of the Week for the third consecutive week. The most recent award was for her efforts in games played on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. The Bearcats defeated Whitman College, 19-3, on Saturday and downed Whitworth University, 14-11, on Sunday. Both games were played at Sparks Field.

During the weekend, Bachiochi scored eight goals and seven assists for 15 points. Against Whitman, she produced five goals and six assists, with her 11 points finishing just one short of her own school record. Against Whitworth, she added three goals and one assist.

For the season, she has contributed 37 goals, 29 assists, and 66 points to lead the Bearcats in all three categories. She set a school record 12 points on seven goals and five assists in an 18-11 win at Linfield University on March 19. Bachiochi has achieved career totals of 121 goals and 108 assists for 229 points. She holds the school career records for assists and points.

The Bearcats are 8-2 on the season and 5-1 in the NWC. Willamette will battle the University of Puget Sound in an NWC contest on Wednesday, April 10 at Sparks Field. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m. PDT.
