NWC Selects Bachiochi for Lacrosse Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week

SALEM, Ore. -- For the fourth time this season, Lily Bachiochi (Jr., ATT, Henderson, NV/Coronado HS) of Willamette University has been chosen as the Northwest Conference Women's Lacrosse Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week. The most recent honor is for her efforts at George Fox University on Friday, April 19 and against Linfield University on Sunday, April 21. She also received the award on March 25, April 1, and April 8.

In Willamette's two games, Bachiochi scored eight goals and eight assists for 16 points. At GFU, she earned four goals and three assists to help Willamette take a 10-8 lead in the fourth quarter before falling to the seven-time defending NWC champions. Against Linfield, she registered four goals and five assists for a game-high nine points in a 19-6 win.

Bachiochi's fourth goal against Linfield tied her for Willamette's career record of 138 goals, originally set by Maddie Garcia from through 2023. For the week, Bachiochi took 13 shots and scored on all eight of her shots on goal. She has earned 54 goals and 48 assists for 102 points this season. She is the Bearcats' career leader in assists (127) and points (265).

Willamette is 11-3 on the season and 8-2 in the NWC. The Bearcats will play at Whitman College on Saturday, April 27. Game time in Walla Walla, Washington, is scheduled for 1 p.m. PDT.
