FOREST GROVE, ORE. -- Willamette University's four volleyball matches this weekend (Sept. 5-6) at the Boxer Kickoff Invitational can be followed through Live Stats on the Pacific University website. Pacific, which is hosting the tournament, will provide the Live Stats feed.
In previous seasons, the Boxer Kickoff Invitational featured action on two courts at the same time. With this year's event set to be competed just one match at a time, Pacific will be able to provide the Live Stats service throughout the two days of action.
Willamette will open the tournament on Saturday, Sept. 5 at 11:15 a.m. (PDT) against Linfield College. The Bearcats will take on Schreiner College at 6 p.m. on Saturday. WU will take on Central College (Iowa) at 9 a.m. on Sunday and will battle Wartburg College at 3:45 p.m. on Sunday.
The 'Cats are 1-0 on the season after defeating Northwest Christian University, 3-0, at Cone Field House. Willamette defeated the Beacons, 25-20, 25-16, 25-19.
