Women's Golf to Host Willamette Valley Cup at Creekside Golf Club

SALEM, Ore. -- The Willamette University women's golf team will be hosting the Willamette Valley Cup on Saturday, March 16 and Sunday, March 17 at Creekside Golf Club. Action in the tournament will begin with a shotgun start at 9 a.m. each day. Willamette is one of 10 teams participating in the women's competition.

Joining the Bearcats will be full teams from George Fox University, Lewis-Clark State College (Idaho), Linfield University, North Idaho College, Pacific University, Pacific Lutheran University, Southern Oregon University, and Whitman College. Bushnell University has not entered a full team.

Forming Willamette's team entry in the tournament are Roberta Moore (So., Lakewood, WA/Lakes HS/Lewis & Clark College), Saida Seelig (So., Portland, OR/Wilson HS), Anushka Srivastav (Sr., Pune, India/Mahindra International School), and Mallory Tolliver (So., Columbus, OH/Upper Arlington HS).

During the shotgun start on Saturday, Moore will begin at Hole 4A. Seelig will start at Hole 5A and Srivastav will begin at Hole 5B. Tolliver is set to get underway at Hole 6B.

Willamette took first place at the Willamette Valley Cup in 2012, 2013, and 2014. Linfield won in 2015, George Fox was victorious in 2017, and Southern Oregon won last year's meet in 2023.
