Bearcats and Loggers Reschedule Games for April 7 in Tacoma

Doubleheader Was Rained Out last Weekend

SALEM, Ore. -- Willamette University and University of Puget Sound have chosen a make-up date for the two games rained out on Sunday, March 15 in Tacoma, Wash. The games will be played as a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 7 in Tacoma, starting at 12 p.m. (PDT).

Puget Sound defeated the Bearcats, 9-2, in the first game of their Northwest Conference series on Saturday, March 14. The second game on Saturday was moved to Sunday as part of a doubleheader, but both games were unable to be played due to the weather.

Willamette will be back in action on Saturday, March 21 with a doubleheader against Lewis & Clark College at John Lewis Field. First pitch is set for 12 p.m. (PST). The Bearcats and the Pioneers will play one game on Sunday, March 22, also at 12 p.m.

Outfielder and pitcher Gordie Clary is batting .286 for the Bearcats and owns a 2-0 record as a relief pitcher.
