Baseball Game with Corban Moved from March 22 to April 5

SALEM, Ore. -- The baseball game between Willamette University and crosstown rival Corban University scheduled for Wednesday, March 22 at John Lewis Field has been changed to Wednesday, April 5 due to wet grounds plus the forecast of additional rain this week and next week.

Although the date has changed, the Bearcats will still host the game at John Lewis Field. Game time on April 5 will be 4 p.m. (PDT), one hour later than originally scheduled.

The Bearcats and the Warriors are still set to play a second non-conference game on Tuesday, April 11 on the Corban campus. Game time is slated for 4 p.m. (PDT).

Willamette is currently 14-6 on the season. The Bearcats are in second place in the Northwest Conference at 9-3, one game behind Pacific Lutheran University's 10-2 record.

The Bearcats will play four games in California this weekend. Willamette will start the road trip by  taking on Claremont-Mudd-Scripps in a single game on Friday, March 17. The Bearcats will battle road  California Lutheran University in one game on Saturday, March 18, before competing against Occidental College in a doubleheader on Sunday, March 19.
