Salem, Ore. -- The Willamette University football team has thirteen seniors or graduate students whose academic success has qualified them for the Hampshire Honor Society Class of 2025. Willamette's selections are Dylan Carpenter, AJ Conrad, Dominic Corado, Gio Gallardo, Cahlil Hooper, Brandon Johnson, La'Akea Like, Mason Polier, Hriday Raj, Dayton Roberts, Hogan Smith, Landon Waters, and Orion Woods.
Sponsored by the National Football Foundation, the Hampshire Honor Society is in its 19th year. The award recognizes college football players from all divisions who are seniors and have maintained at least a 3.2 cumulative grade point average. The GPAs listed below are from the end of the 2024 fall semester.
The class of 2025 features a record-setting 2,016 players from 343 colleges and universities. The new members join previous players who have been named to the Hampshire Honor Society, which began in 2007. This year's athletes were nominated after completing the fall semester.
Eighty-four Bearcats have been chosen for the Hampshire Honor Society since it started. The Bearcats have had at least one selection in 17 of the 19 seasons. Willamette had no selections in 2009-10 and in 2020-21, when the Bearcats did not compete due to COVID-19.
