SALEM, Ore. -- Willamette University's Austin Davis (Sr., Culver City, CA/Culver City HS) has been chosen as the Northwest Conference Men's Golf Student-Athlete of the Week for his efforts at the Spring Trilogy #3 tournament, hosted by the Bearcats at McNary Golf Club in Keizer, Oregon, on Saturday, April 2. It was the second week in a row that Davis has been chosen for the NWC honor.

Davis took first place in the individual standings at Spring Trilogy #3, as he helped Willamette win the team title. Davis carded a score of 1-under 69 in the 18-hole tournament to win by four strokes over teammate Andrew Kibbee (Sr., Kenmore, WA/Bothell HS), who shot a 73 for second place. Davis has now won back-to-back tournaments, giving him four individual titles in 2021-22.

The Bearcats earned the top seven places on the individual leaderboard on their way to the team victory with a score of 296. Linfield University and Lewis & Clark College also competed in the tournament, which featured a total of 22 men's golfers.
