Tualatin, OR - Men's Golf started their season today at the Tualatin Country Club in the Orange & Black Invitational hosted by Lewis & Clark College.  The team posted a score of 318 for the first round, led by Alexander Papajohn's 1-over par 73.

Other scores on the day for the Bearcats were Brock Olson with an 81, Oliver Smith and Jack Carr with 82, and Kyler Phillips with an 87.

Willamette also had four players compete as individuals on the first day.  Paxton Jones shot 75, followed closely by Connor Murphy with 78 and Lucas Paul at 79.  Benedikt Morsch carded an 83 on the day.

The second and final round of the tournament will be played on Tuesday, September 23rd.  The first group is scheduled to tee off at 9:59 am.
