SALEM, ORE. -- The men's soccer exhibition match between Willamette University and Warner Pacific College, originally scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 28, has been canceled. The game will not be rescheduled.

The Bearcats finished the 2009 season with a 6-13 overall record, including 5-9 in the Northwest Conference. WU went 3-3 in the final six games of the year.

Willamette will start the regular season on Wednesday, Sept. 1 by hosting crosstown rival Corban University. Kickoff at Sparks Field is set for 7 p.m. (PDT).
