Three Bearcats Named Men’s Soccer All-NWC, LaFrance First-Team

Three members of the Willamette Men's Soccer team were named all-Northwest Conference for their performances during the 2024 season.  Krisna LaFrance was named to the first team, Sean Kim was named second team, and Andrew Reed was named honorable mention.

LaFrance led the Bearcats in goals (10) and points (21) on the season.  His ten goals during conference play placed him fourth overall in the NWC and he was fifth overall in points.  He was also sixth in the conference in shots on goal with 24.  LaFrance finished the season on a high note, scoring six goals in his last five matches, leading Willamette to a 3-1-1 finish in those contests. 

Kim led the team in assists with six and was second on the team in goals with seven.  His total of 20 points was also second on the team for the Bearcats.  In conference play, Kim finished second in shots per game (4.43), ninth in shots on goal (22), sixth in assists (5), and seventh in total points (15).  

Reed, who also received honorable mention recognition in 2023, was second on the team in assists with five and tied for fourth in points with seven.  He scored one goal on the season from his midfielder position in a 2-1 victory over Puget Sound on October 19th.  Reed tied teammate Sean Kim for sixth place in assists with five, including a stretch of three consecutive games with an assist during the middle of the conference season.
