SALEM, ORE. -- Joshua Wong (Jr., Hilo, HI/Hilo HS) and Cody Ferguson (Sr., North Bend, OR/North Bend HS/Western Oregon Univ.) prevailed for Willamette University at #1 and #2 singles as well as #1 doubles, but George Fox University triumphed in the remaining matches, as the Bruins defeated the Bearcats, 6-3, in Northwest Conference action on Friday, March 30.

The competition was moved indoors at the Courthouse Tennis Center due to the rain. George Fox evened its record at 7-7, while improving to 6-3 in the NWC. The Bruins are ranked #12 in the West Region of NCAA Division III. Willamette dropped to 3-9 overall, 3-5 in the NWC.
