Newberg, OR - On the final day of the ITA Regional Tournament, hosted by George Fox University, AJ Avansino and Zack Olander fell in a tie-breaker to Ryan Ashley and Matt Frosan from Whitworth University.

Avansino and Olander had reached the quarter-finals of the consolation bracket by defeating Nick Owens and Cody Pickar from Linfield University on Saturday by a score of 8-3.  The match against Ashley and Froslan was a back-and-forth affair that found the score tied at sever, leading to a deciding tie-break.  The Whitworth duo won the tie-break 7-1, leading to a final match score of 8-7.

This tournament concluded the fall season for Men's Tennis who will return to competition next Spring.
