
Monmouth, OR - William Hennum (10th) and Jay Chew (11th) led men's cross country as the team finished third at the Ash Creek Collegiate Invitational hosted by Westen Oregon University. Hennum covered the 6000m course in a time of 19:05.73 with Chew following close behind at 19:10.75.
Sophomores Adam Lewis (19:52.20) and Julien Trobaugh (20:10.62) were next for the Bearcats, finishing 18th and 21st respectively. Senior Joshua Evans crossed the line with a time of 20:19.53 and Sage Soto came in at 20:24.88.
The cross-country team's next race will be Willamette's annual Charles Bowles Invitational hosted in Bush's Pasture Park near campus on Saturday, October 5th.
